Who you are buying from

The plugins are made by CoreForge Labs, based in Wellington, New Zealand. You can reach us atinfo.coreforgelabs@gmail.com.

Your order itself is sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as the Merchant of Record. That means Paddle is the seller on your receipt, Paddle takes the payment, and Paddle is responsible for charging and remitting any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you are. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these terms. We remain responsible for the software itself and for supporting it.

What you are buying

The plugins are free to download and free to run in Q-SYS Designer emulation. You do not need to buy anything to evaluate one properly.

What you are buying is a licence to run one plugin on one Q-SYS Core. Each licence covers a single Core and unlimited instances of that plugin on it. If you are deploying to three Cores, you need three licences.

How a licence is delivered

After payment we email you one Activation Code per licence, usually within a minute. You exchange that code, together with your Core's Locking ID, for a Plugin Activation Key that you paste into the plugin. Delivery is by email only — there is nothing to ship.

If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then contact us atinfo.coreforgelabs@gmail.com. Every code is recoverable from your order and we can resend it. You will not lose what you paid for because an email went astray.

Activation binds the licence to one Core

Activation is permanent and ties the licence to the Locking ID of the Core it was activated on. It cannot be moved to a different Core by you. Once activated, the plugin validates locally and does not need an internet connection.

If a Core is replaced — failure, warranty replacement, or a planned hardware change — contact us and we will reissue the licence against the new Core at no charge. We may ask for the old and new Locking IDs.

What we do not promise

The plugins integrate with third-party hardware and services that we do not control. A manufacturer can change a protocol, firmware or API at any time and break an integration. We maintain the plugins in good faith but cannot guarantee that a given device, firmware version or service will keep working indefinitely.

We also cannot guarantee compatibility with future Q-SYS Designer releases. Where a minimum Q-SYS version is listed on a product page, that is the version the plugin was built and tested against.

Always evaluate in emulation before you buy. It is free, it is the same code, and it is the best way to confirm a plugin does what your project needs.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded by agreement — including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies, and mandatory consumer protections in your own country. Where such a right applies, it applies regardless of anything written here.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law permits, our total liability for any claim relating to a plugin or licence is limited to the amount you paid for that licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost business, downtime or loss of data.

These plugins are used in live AV systems. You are responsible for testing any plugin in your own environment before relying on it in production.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you placed the order. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. This does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
