Sky nSB Decoder Plugin

Sky Decoder NZ Control brings Kaon Sky NZ decoder control directly into your Q-SYS Core.

Control your Sky NZ decoder from Q-SYS over the network.

The plugin provides clean Q-SYS control integration for everyday operation, including navigation, app shortcuts, volume control, numeric keypad, Channel list and transport controls.

Key functionality includes:

• Navigation & channel controls
• Transport controls (play/pause, stop, rewind, forward)
• Volume controls
• Dyanamically built channel source list, pulls from Sky. 
• Power control
  
• App shortcuts (YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video)
• Guide, Live TV, Record, Planner, and Settings keys
  
• Pairing with on-screen PIN entry for one-time device pairing
• Status feedback for connection, pairing, and device state

You must run the Android TV cert generator to create and install the required certificates.

Created and tested on a Koan Sky NZ decoder.
Plugin controls are not available in emulation mode, due to the certificate requirements. 

FIRST-TIME SETUP
1.  Ensure Sky box is on the same network as your PC
2.  Run  AndroidTV_Cert_Tool.exe  on a Windows PC
3.  Enter the decoder IP, then Generate Certificates
4.  Move the 3 cert files to the Q-SYS Core:
      Files > Coreforge Labs - Files >Android TV Control Device [ID] > Device Certs

5.  Enter the decoder IP address in the IP field above
6.  Press the Pair button. PIN appears on the TV
7.  Enter the 6-digit hex PIN, then press Submit PIN
*   Using multiple decoders? Set a unique Device ID
in Properties for each plugin instance. 

Note - if you are also using the Android TV plugin on the same core, Device ID must be different.
