Bring Yamaha AV receiver control directly into your Q-SYS Core. Control compatible Yamaha MusicCast receivers over the network using Yamaha's Extended Control API — no serial cable, IR emitter, or control adaptor required.

Key functionality:
- Power, mute, and volume control (real dB, fader or step buttons)
- Input selection matched to your receiver, with fixed shortcuts for HDMI, Tuner, AirPlay, Bluetooth, and Audio
- Surround/sound mode selection
- Transport control for network, USB, AirPlay, and Bluetooth sources
- Now-playing metadata, including album art on AirPlay
- Independent Zone 2 control
- FM/AM tuner with presets, direct tune, and seek
Every control is available in Q-SYS Designer emulation with no licence required. Live Core deployment requires a per-Core licence.
Developed and tested on a Yamaha RX-A760 (Aventage); targets the wider MusicCast family — RX-A and RX-V receivers from approximately 2016 onward.

Compatibility note: The connected receiver must support Yamaha's Extended Control API (the protocol behind MusicCast). Not compatible with the older YNCA serial protocol.
